Acme Glass was founded by Walter Smith in 1956 in Tampa, FL. After 30 years in the business he retired and left it to a long-time employee, Joe Martinez. Joe owned and operated it until August of 2018.

Michael Bozel took over the business and operated it from 2018 to early 2021

James Butler bought the business from Michael in March 2022 and changed the name to Patriotic Glass.
